Frequently Asked Questions:

Do you work from one photo, or from multiple photos? - "I prefer to work from one photograph, as it will be the most accurate rendering of your pup, and you will have a better idea of what you will be getting!"

I'm feeling stuck... what kind of photo should I submit to you!? - " I personally love painting pets outdoors, where there is a lot of pretty color and scenery in the background. Also, you don't have to think of this as a conventional headshot of your dog.. find something that makes you jazzed! I know that we all take way too many photos of our pets, so send a few over to me if you are stuck, and I would be happy to help figure out what would be the best picture that would translate well as a painting."

When will I receive my painting? - "For commissions, I work on a first come, first served basis. When you reach out to me to commission a piece, I will let you know the projected time frame, and will confirm with you when it is finished and ready to be shipped!"

How will I receive it? - "I will ship your piece in the mail with art safe packaging with FREE SHIPPING!"

Payment Details. - "As of right now, I accept payment for the piece through my website, or by check in the mail after I confirm with you that you like the finished piece, and give me the thumbs up to send it. ( I will send the piece once I receive payment.)"

What if I don't like my painting, can I return it? - " I will email a picture of your new artwork to you before you pay for the piece, to ensure it is exactly what you want! On a side note, I have never had anyone not 'love' a piece that I have created for them, and/or have had it returned! ( I have had many people say that they LOVED what I have created for them! :) With that said, if you are truly not happy with your piece, no worries, and I will gladly keep the painting, with no charge to you! ( There is no refund for the $25 initial deposit)

Why painting... why choose to work with me? - "Dog portraiture (and art in general) can be a really unique and fun way to capture moments in time, and be a statement piece and beautiful edition to your home or office. For me, art that I have created and collected over the years on my walls are the things that make my space feel 'homey' and special. Painting in particular, has a very unique three dimensional and special quality to it that is translated through the paint with each an every brush stroke. I also pride myself on my painting skills, as I have received a Masters in Fine Art and Painting from one of the best art schools in Boston ( The Museum School of Fine Art and Tufts University). Finally, I love what I do, and I think that translates through the care and attention I give each piece I paint. Through your purchase, thank you for enabling me to continue to fill the world with thought provoking and beautiful things."
